Job summary

Collectors Universe, Inc. in Jersey City, NJ, is seeking a temp-to-hire Customer Relations Specialist IV for our PSA Customer Relations team. The role is full-time on-site, 3pm–11:30pm, Monday through Friday, reporting to the Customer Relations Supervisor.

You will handle customer inquiries, investigate claims, process adjustments, and collaborate with Operations to resolve issues. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant customer relations experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent listening skills with empathetic voice and manner.
• Organized, detail oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
• Knowledgeable in Google Workspace; Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Operations to find appropriate solutions for customer responses.
• Provides accurate, valid, and complete information using department protocols.
• Resolves queries by clarifying the customer’s issue and explaining the best solution.
• Maintains accounts by processing customer adjustments.
• Continuously updates department spreadsheet of incoming orders.
• Escalates unresolved issues to the lead/supervisor.
