Job summary

Family Dollar LLC seeks a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, protect assets, and help stock the store, unload trucks, and maintain cleanliness.

The role requires strong customer service, organizational and communication skills, with physical tasks including lifting 30–50 lbs and frequent walking and standing. This is a part-time position in Belvidere, IL.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in customer service in retail or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
• Strong customer service, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise as needed.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment; assist with bathrooms and floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
