Job summary

Family Dollar LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. The role involves assisting customers, handling transactions, restocking, unloading merchandise, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

The position requires strong customer service and communication skills, physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as part of the job.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
