Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Customer Specialist in Shreveport to guide customers through car buying and selling with honesty and transparency. You will support appraisals, test drives, paperwork, and service coordination to ensure a smooth, customer-first experience.

This role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; you will work with teams across departments and uphold CarMax quality standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service guiding customers through sales and appraisals.
• Document vehicle condition for appraisals and communicate findings to Buyers.
• Manage inventory processes including check-in, scanning and reconciliation.
• Perform cosmetic inspections to meet CarMax Quality Standards.
• Handle administrative tasks and maintain transaction paperwork.
• Coordinate service appointments and verify repair order invoices for accuracy.
• Follow EH&S requirements and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
