Job summary

CarMax in Madison, WI is seeking a Customer Specialist to guide customers through the car-buying and selling journey, including appraisals, test drives, paperwork, and repair orders. You will help ensure a transparent, seamless experience by collaborating across teams and upholding CarMax’s commitment to honesty and innovation.

You will manage inventory tasks, coordinate service appointments, and ensure accuracy in billing while maintaining CarMax Quality Standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by guiding customers through sales, appraisals, test drives, and financing applications.
• Document vehicle condition for appraisals and communicate findings to Buyers.
• Manage inventory: vehicle check-in, daily scanning, and reconciliation.
• Perform cosmetic inspections to meet CarMax Quality Standards.
• Handle administrative tasks such as printing reports and managing paperwork.
• Coordinate service appointments and review repair orders for billing accuracy across teams.
• Follow EH&S requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
