Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two or more years of personal banker experience are required.
• Must be able to cross-sell and perform higher-level activities (ATM, EFT, etc.).
• Good interpersonal communication, organizational, mathematical and computer skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Handle comprehensive, prompt, and efficient customer transactions, including cashing checks and entering transactions into records.
• Balance cash drawer and report discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with various customer requests (holds, stop-payments, address changes, etc.).
• Promote and explain bank products based on customer needs within policies.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer customers to sales staff.
• Assist in night depository functions and maintain stocked deposit area.
• Perform Branch Capture of transactions and support branch operations.
• Continuously improve product knowledge and meet customer demands.
• Make product and service recommendations to Banking Center Managers.
• Comply with all bank policies and procedures and achieve sales, referral, and operational goals.
