Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Sales Manager to lead store selling culture and operations. You will drive strong sales results, coach front-line teams, and ensure compliance with SOPs and brand standards across the store in Abington, PA.

You will oversee customer experience, loyalty enrollment, and omni-channel service while managing day-to-day execution and staff development in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead multiple store operations and events.
• Customer-focused coaching and performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach selling behaviors to drive conversion and customer satisfaction.
• Provide MOD coverage, ensuring floor leadership and service standards.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems for smooth transactions.
• Oversee balloons, birthday party operations and in-store programs.
• Promote Loyalty Rewards Program to drive retention and visits.
• Drive omni-channel sales including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Support framing operations and other departments as needed.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing coaching.
• MaintainAsset Protection practices to reduce shrink and ensure safety.
