Job summary

JCPenney is seeking a Sales Floor Assistant to drive customer service and profitable sales growth. You will lead and engage associates, manage merchandise standards, and execute sales-building programs on the sales floor.

Responsibilities include coordinating restock, RFID and inventory tasks, assisting SET/visual execution, supporting omnichannel processes, and participating in inventory and operational activities to reduce shrink and improve store performance.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales - Models and holds team accountable for delivering outstanding customer service. Actively listens to customer issues to resolve problems.
• Door to Floor / Restock / RFID & Inventory - Works with Merchandise Supervisor to plan upcoming merchandise placement plans. Assists with inventory processes and stock control.
• SET / Visual / Environment - Assists with SET processes by planning floor moves, placing graphics, and executing visual detailing.
• Omnichannel (SVG 2-3 only) - Assists with the jcp.com process including orders and returns as needed.
• General Operations - Assists with Merchandise Transfer Out, Return to Vendor and Return to Warehouse activities and participates in annual inventory processes.
• Performance Standards - Supports shrink and safety initiatives and meets established role performance standards.
