Job summary

Michaels - Customer Service/Cashier role in a public retail environment. Help customers, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. Participate in stocking, merchandise recovery, and omnichannel processes such as BOPIS and SFS.

The position involves engaging customers with rewards programs and card enrollments, while following SOPs and maintaining a well-merchandised store environment.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience handling cash and operating checkout standards.
• Ability to engage customers and explain store programs.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with BOPIS and Ship From Store processes.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock conditions; process returns.
