Job summary

Michaels is hiring at MT. PLEASANT, SC for a customer service-focused role in our store. You will help customers shop, find products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience while performing truck unloads, stocking, and general store recovery to keep shelves in stock.

You'll engage customers with the Rewards program, support Omni channel processes like BOPIS and SFS, and participate in planograms, shrink and safety programs, adhering to SOPs and company policies at all times.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and Ship From Store
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, returns processing
• Perform in-stock optimization and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; promote positive image
• Interact professionally with customers; role model company values
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
