Job summary

Five Below Inc. is seeking a capable leader to manage daily store operations and oversee crew performance in Granite City, IL. You will drive customer service excellence, train staff on the BEST experience, and work with the store manager on hiring, coaching, and achieving performance targets.

You will supervise front-end operations, ensure branding standards, and maintain a safe, welcoming store environment. This hourly role requires flexibility and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and delivers fast, friendly check-out experiences.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Leads the store to achieve customer service score goals set by the District Manager.
• Oversees front-end operations and merchandising to meet brand standards.
• Ensures front-end equipment is working and staff are trained.
• Performs opening/closing and keeps the store clean and ready for customers.
• Supports store manager in recruiting, training, and developing crew.
• Reviews corporate communications and acts accordingly.
• Collaborates with store leadership on merchandising and recovery procedures.
• Performs stock room duties and general store maintenance.
