Vallarta Supermarkets is seeking a Customer Experience Manager to elevate service across Front-End teams, train and coach staff, and partner with the Store Director to drive profitability and customer satisfaction.

You’ll manage scheduling, cash handling, compliance, safety, and conduct audits to improve performance. This is a full-time role based in Duarte, CA, offering benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of supervisory or training experience in retail or supermarket front-end operations.
• Strong coaching and team-building abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of front-end operations, compliance and safety standards.
• Ability to pass a criminal and credit check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Front-End Leads and Booth Administrators to build high-performing teams.
• Oversee cashier scheduling, coverage, and operations for efficiency.
• Ensure cash handling accuracy and transaction compliance.
• Maintain adherence to OSHA, Health Department, ABC, WIC, SNAP, LEAD testing, etc.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
• Conduct audits and review metrics to improve service and compliance.
• Deliver training programs for Front-End and Booth staff.
• Collaborate with Store Director, HR, and leadership to drive initiatives.
• Perform cashier or front-end duties during peak periods.
• Complete reports and communications accurately and on time.
