Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. in Florence, AL, seeks an Assistant Store Manager to serve as a front-line brand ambassador for Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, or Cash Store.

You will coach staff, ensure outstanding customer service, and support regulatory compliance across the store. Responsibilities include presenting product options, handling cash, processing transactions, balancing cash drawers, and maintaining daily records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in an autonomous environment.
• Must have own personal reliable transportation with valid driver's license and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting options that meet their needs.
• Escalate issues to store manager, DDO, and corporate office when needed.
• Answer telephone inquiries and perform outbound customer sales, courtesy, and collection calls.
• Respond professionally to customers and ensure they feel supported and valued.
• Handle currency, cash, and coins; manage cash drawer and deposits.
• Balance batch receipts with store sales reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Process all transactions accurately and per company policy (loans, check cashing, Net Spend).
• Comply with federal/state regulations and company policies; complete trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.
