Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to act as a front-line brand ambassador for Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, or Cash Store. You will drive outstanding customer service while ensuring regulatory compliance across stores in the district.

Responsibilities include educating customers on products, handling transactions, and collaborating with leadership to resolve issues. Strong communication and cash handling experience are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in an autonomous environment.
• Must have own personal reliable transportation with valid license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio with options to meet needs.
• Escalate issues to store manager or district leadership when needed.
• Answer telephone inquiries about general questions, applications, or requests.
• Perform outbound sales, courtesy, and collection calls per regulations and procedures.
• Respond professionally to customers, offering solutions and support.
• Interact with customers using active listening to clarify information and resolve concerns.
• Handle and count currency, cash, and coins; manage cash drawer and deposits.
• Balance batch receipts with sales reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform customer verifications to validate information.
• Process transactions including loans, check cashing, and Net Spend.
• Comply with regulations and company policies; complete compliance trainings.
