Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Cashier/Stocker who can act in a lead capacity when Store Manager is absent. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, assist with plan‑o‑grams, and provide exceptional customer service while helping protect assets.

Responsibilities include operating the register, making change, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting a safe store environment. Prior supervisory exposure is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• Must have basic math skills for transactions.
• Experience with cash handling and deposits is preferred.
• Familiarity with plan‑o‑gram guidance and merchandise presentation.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks according to store procedures.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock, rotate and face merchandise on shelves; build displays.
• Restock returned and recovered merchandise.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
• Greet customers and help locate merchandise.
• Operate cash register and scanner; bag purchases; provide change.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
