Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Cashier/Stocker who can lead in the absence of store management. You will unload trucks, stock, and merchandise displays, while ensuring excellent customer service and store organization.

You will operate the register, handle payments, and assist customers. This role emphasizes teamwork, loss prevention, and maintaining store cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualificações

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations such as totals, percentages, and change.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.
• Ability to operate IBM cash register functions.
• Knowledge of plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Effective interpersonal and oral & written communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.

Responsabilidades

• Unload trucks and stock shelves; rotate and face merchandise.
• Restock returned and recovered merchandise and build displays.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise and answering questions.
• Maintain register area and implement plan-o-grams.
• Operate cash register, process payments, and bag items.
• Ensure store cleanliness and safety compliance.
• Provide courteous customer service leadership in the absence of management.
