Qualifications

• Education equivalent to a bachelor's degree.
• Seven (7) years' experience in customer service.
• Experience managing people including hiring, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Experience handling customer orders on an order entry system and building strong customer relationships.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate plant customer service functions to meet customer needs.
• Coordinate with scheduling, production and shipping to ensure on-time delivery.
• Handle new customer requests for samples, specs, pricing, and availability with cross-functional teams.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to staff including hiring decisions and performance development.
• Improve customer service standards and support plant goals and quality improvements.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints, including billing issues or credits.
• Recommend product/policy/process improvements to better fulfill customer needs.
• Manage inventory levels and align with orders and forecasts.
