Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, high-quality food is prepared and served. The role ensures the restaurant crew is well trained and provides excellent service, while keeping a clean, organized line and functioning equipment.

You will be on your feet during shifts, stepping in to help when not busy. You will train front-of-house staff, participate in crew performance reviews, and support office duties such as banking

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Making sure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Helping to resolve food quality issues.
• Supporting food safety: hand washing, glove changes, time and temperature checks, shelf life monitoring, Daily Food Safety Checklist.
• Helping to resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences.
• Monitoring crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules.
• Developing and cross training all front of house Crew.
• Assisting with Crew performance reviews.
• Developing future Service Leaders.
• Assisting with miscellaneous office administration duties such as banking and cash handling policies.
• Ensuring office equipment remains in working order and supplies are ordered as needed.
• Ensuring the proper quantity of supplies are available as needed.
