Job summary

The Kroger Company in Greenwood Village, CO is seeking a Front End Supervisor to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain efficient store operations. You will supervise front-end functions, train associates, and ensure policies are followed while striving to exceed sales and service goals.

You will greet customers, resolve issues, and coordinate checkout activities, pricing, signage, and safety compliance, while supporting a friendly, fast-paced environment that reflects Kroger's values

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months related experience or training; or equivalent education/experience.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Good math skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear judgment, friendly demeanor and team spirit.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow policies.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teamwork to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant environment.
• Provide friendly, efficient service with sincerity and respect.
• Greet customers and assist with products, loading and reaching items.
• Anticipate needs, answer questions and resolve issues promptly.
• Oversee front end to meet sales, profit and labor goals.
• Train, coach and monitor associates on front end policies and procedures.
• Ensure checkout accuracy and front-end policy compliance.
• Communicate pricing discrepancies to the pricing coordinator.
• Back-up coverage for the service operations manager in their absence.
• Know checkout transactions and back-office procedures.
