Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a customer-focused team member to help customers in-store and at checkout. You will assist shoppers in finding products, enroll customers in rewards programs, and support omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS. The role involves stock, recovery, and safety duties in a fast-paced retail environment.

Candidates should have retail or customer service experience, be comfortable standing for long periods, and enjoy working nights, weekends, and early mornings as needed.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and assist customers.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; handle cash to standards.
• Encourage enrollment in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise in-stock condition.
• Support shrink and safety programs and SOP adherence.
