Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store team member in a full-time role to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure quick checkout experiences. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining clean, in-stock shelves across the store.

Responsibilities include promoting the Michaels Rewards program, assisting with BOPIS/SFS, and upholding safety and SOPs. Prior retail experience is preferred, and the role requires standing and moving throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around store.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service and help customers locate products.
• Handle checkout transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Educate customers about rewards programs and enroll them when appropriate.
• Assist with stocking, truck unloading and maintaining planograms (POGs).
• Support Omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Ensure store recovery, in-stock levels, and merchandise presentation meet standards.
• Promote safety, SOPs, and company policies; model professional behavior.
