Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a store associate to assist customers, ring up purchases, and keep the floor well merchandised in a fast-paced retail environment. You will help shoppers find items, answer questions, and promote the Michaels Rewards program and credit card options.

Candidates should have retail or customer service experience and be comfortable standing for long periods. The role involves unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and assisting with store recovery tasks to uphold our brand

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and reach high shelves as needed.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enroll them in Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys and Omni-channel processes (BOPIS/SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram maintenance; ensure in-stock store.
