Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Customer Specialist to deliver an iconic, customer-first experience throughout the car-buying and selling journey. You will guide customers through appraisals, test drives, and financing applications, while ensuring a seamless, transparent process that reflects CarMax’s commitment to honesty and innovation.

You will manage inventory tasks, conduct vehicle inspections, and handle administrative duties, including paperwork and payments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service through sales, appraisals, test drives, and financing applications.
• Conduct vehicle condition assessments and document findings for appraisals.
• Manage inventory processes including check-in, scanning, and reconciliation.
• Perform cosmetic inspections to meet CarMax Quality Standards.
• Handle paperwork, printing; audit documents and manage payments.
• Coordinate service appointments and review repair invoices for accuracy.
