Job summary

Little General is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the store's primary contact, handling sales, stocking, and safety duties. The role requires a professional appearance, a positive attitude, and strong customer interaction.

You will process payments, upsell products, and ensure compliance with tobacco, lottery and alcohol regulations. Key responsibilities include greeting customers, helping locate products, stocking shelves, and maintaining store cleanliness and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to sell tobacco, lottery products and alcohol.
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Customer-focused with upselling and sales transaction experience.

Responsibilities

• Present a well-groomed, professional image at all times.
• Greet and welcome all customers with a smile.
• Help customers locate products and upsell related items when appropriate.
• Record all sales on the cash register and collect payment; provide correct change.
• Understand and follow state laws regarding lottery, alcohol and tobacco sales.
• Promote loyalty programs and monitor store safety and cleanliness.
• Stock and price products; maintain sanitary conditions in food service areas.
