Job summary

Little General Store Inc is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the primary contact with customers. You will handle sales transactions, keep the store stocked, and help maintain a clean and safe environment.

This role requires ability to upsell, follow state laws for lottery, alcohol and tobacco, and participate in loyalty programs. Must be at least 18 years old and proficient in English; training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
• Minimum age 18 to sell tobacco, lottery, and alcohol as required by law.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Ability to greet customers, upsell products and follow checkout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly service.
• Assist customers in locating products and answer questions.
• Record sales, handle payments, and provide correct change.
• Upsell related products and promote loyalty programs.
• Follow state laws for lottery, alcohol and tobacco sales.
• Keep shelves stocked and store clean and safe.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report to the manager.
• Complete daily shift reports and adhere to store policies.
