Job summary

Little General is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the primary contact for customers. You will handle sales, assist with locating products, upsell, and process payments on a POS system. You must follow state laws for alcohol, tobacco, and lottery, and promote loyalty programs.

Qualifications

• Strong front-line customer service skills.
• Ability to upsell related products.
• Experience handling cash and processing payments.
• Familiarity with loyalty programs (e.g., Plenti, BP) is a plus.
• Team-oriented with reliability and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and maintain a professional appearance.
• Assist customers in locating products and answering questions.
• Upsell related products where appropriate.
• Record sales on the cash register and provide correct change.
• Understand and follow approved payment systems and transaction processes.
• Follow state laws for lottery, alcohol, and tobacco sales.
• Promote enrollment in loyalty programs and manage enrollments.
• Report suspicious activity to the Manager on duty.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock levels.
• Follow safety and security procedures as required.
• Complete Daily Shift Report and other duties as assigned.
