Job summary

Michaels in Dayton–Miami­sburg, OH is seeking a Store Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You’ll work on unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining a well-merchandised, in-stock store through POS tasks and fraternity with store processes such as BOPIS and SFS.

The role emphasizes customer interaction, adherence to SOPs, and teamwork in a climate-controlled retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to assist customers and handle queries confidently.
• Familiarity with checkout and cash-handling standards.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and execute cash handling to standards.
• Encourage enrollment in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain in-stock store and handle merchandise returns/go-backs.
