Job summary

Michaels is hiring at our Amherst, OH store to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. Team members will unload trucks, stock shelves, and maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store while promoting our Rewards program and private label card offerings.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, executing POS transactions, driving BOPIS/SFS workflows, and supporting safety and SOP adherence.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintain in-stock store; go-back processes
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact professionally; model company values and be a positive role model
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
