Job summary

Family Dollar LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. The role involves assisting customers, handling sales at the register, and maintaining store cleanliness and stock.

Requirements include a high school diploma (preferred) and prior customer service in retail or related fields. Candidates should be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform multiple store duties with positive, professional interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must lift between 30 and 50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and team.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
