Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Indiana LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, ensure cash security, stock shelves, and maintain store cleanliness. The role requires strong customer service and teamwork and offers a pathway to growth within a retail environment.

The position is part-time and located at our De Motte store. A high school diploma is preferred, with prior retail or service experience beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail customer service experience in a similar environment is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong customer service, organizational and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise as needed.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading, stock replenishment and productivity standards.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms, floors and trash removal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
