Family Dollar Stores Of Indiana LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, receive merchandise, and ensure a clean, safe store environment.

Part-time role with varied duties and opportunities to develop customer service skills. The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior retail service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, restrooms, floors, and stock areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
