Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Indiana LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for customers in Winamac, IN. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, unload trucks, and maintain store cleanliness while ensuring safety and friendly interactions.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent and may involve lifting 30–50 lbs, standing, walking, and following operational instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash disposal.
• Incumbents will follow any other instructions and perform related duties as required.
