Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Indiana LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations and manage transactions at the cash register in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will help keep the store stocked and clean, receive merchandise, unload trucks, and uphold a safe, friendly environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs. and perform physical tasks (walking, standing, kneeling, etc.).
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and assist with stock replenishment.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and presentable store environment, including restrooms.
• Other duties as assigned.
