Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to provide a welcoming shopping experience for every customer. You’ll handle transactions, help customers with questions and recommendations, and keep the store tidy, stocked, and secure.

You’ll work in a fast-paced retail environment, build positive relationships with shoppers and teammates, follow store procedures, and contribute to a safe, friendly atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or grocery preferred.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent movements.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe environment with customers and associates.
• Keep store clean including bathrooms, floors, and trash disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
