Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist shoppers with questions and recommendations, and manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.

You will help maintain security of cash and assets, keep the store well-stocked, stock replenishment, unload trucks, and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and team members. This is a part-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operating documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and waste disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
