Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right home improvement products and services. You will interact with customers, answer questions, and ensure a friendly shopping experience in our store, with responsibilities varying by department.

Work in departments such as Appliances, Hardware, Paint, Flooring, and more, with daily duties including assisting customers, stocking shelves, processing orders, and supporting checkout.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying information).
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned
