Kroger is seeking an attentive team member to greet customers, assist with purchases, and operate the check lane efficiently. You will handle cash and various payment methods, follow policies, and safeguard store assets while delivering friendly service.

Ideal candidates bring experience as a bagger or courtesy clerk and can work in a fast-paced environment. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and helping customers have a positive shopping experience.

Formación

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk.

Responsabilidades

• Greet, engage, and assist customers.
• Process customer transactions through the check lane quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand the POS system and handle tenders (Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, Offline SNAP EBT, WIC, Rain checks, loyalty offers, coupons) according to policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and work to control loss.
• Follow guidelines on restricted sale items (alcohol, tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator.
• Follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and safety procedures.
• Inspect equipment and report needs for repair.
• Create an welcoming environment and help customers with product questions.
• Follow all laws and company guidelines.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage conflict in a constructive manner.
• Maintain honesty and integrity with customer/business information.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
• Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed.
• Perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
