Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk.

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and assist customers.
• Process customer transactions through the check lane quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand POS system and handle tenders per company policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention guidelines.
• Follow policies for restricted sale items (alcohol, tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and follow coupon/gift card procedures.
• Maintain food safety and store cleanliness; support safety programs.
• Provide friendly assistance and answer questions about products.
