Job summary

Laundry Capital is hiring a Customer Service Associate in Pawtucket, RI. This part-time, in-person role focuses on delivering high levels of customer service in a busy laundromat environment.

The associate will help customers with laundry card use, machine selection, and retail purchases while maintaining a clean, safe store and assisting with daily tasks. Prior customer service or retail experience is preferred, with flexible scheduling and potential for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Ability to resolve customer issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Professional communication with customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with laundry card use, machine selection and operation, retail purchases, and wash-and-fold orders; address questions or concerns.
• Operate the register or POS system accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of products sold and their uses; encourage purchases of additional items.
• Keep retail items neatly stocked and inform management when inventory or janitorial supplies run low.
• Use log books to report building or equipment issues; inform a supervisor of unsafe conditions.
• Adhere to company policies, including attendance and uniform standards; follow safety practices.
