Job summary

Laundry Capital is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate for our North Providence, RI location. You will greet customers, help with laundry card usage, machine selection, and add-on services while keeping the store clean and welcoming. This is an in-person role that supports busy daily operations.

You will operate the cash register, stock shelves, and report maintenance or safety issues to a supervisor. A professional, friendly demeanor and ability to work with others are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Ability to resolve customer issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Must be able to stand for up to 8+ hours per shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Must be able to communicate with customers and associates professionally.
• Flexible schedule including overnight hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with laundry card use, machine selection and operation.
• Operate the register or POS system.
• Stock retail items and maintain neat displays.
• Use log books to report maintenance and safety issues.
• Follow safety practices and communicate hazards to supervision.
• Perform cleaning duties and maintain a safe store environment.
