Job summary

Belk in Town of Gallatin, NY is seeking a Support Flex Associate to help drive sales and deliver a top‑notch customer experience. You will process inbound truck deliveries, prep new merchandise, and support store operations to keep shelves ready for customers.

This hourly role requires reliability, a team player mindset, and comfort with Windows devices. You will assist with merchandising, inventory tasks, and store upkeep while delivering friendly service.

Qualifications

• Customer service mindset and initiative in meeting store goals.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with limited supervision.
• Comfort using smartphones, tablets and Windows-based devices.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Physically able to lift at least 50 lbs and move merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership and initiative toward store goals and daily priorities.
• Unload cartons from truck deliveries, sort by department, and prepare items for sale.
• Perform RFID and inventory tasks to support accuracy.
• Assist with facilities tasks, including lighting and housekeeping.
• Support floor sets, product presentations, and price changes.
• Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness to keep store ready.
• Learn processes and policies to improve performance and execution.
• Enhance in-store customer experience by assisting customers during peak times.
• Contribute to a positive store culture and teamwork.
• Follow safety procedures and asset protection guidelines.
