Job summary

Citi Trends is seeking a Store Sales Associate to deliver excellent customer service and maintain product knowledge on the sales floor. This in-store role requires a proactive, vigilant individual who communicates effectively and engages customers in a fast-paced retail environment.

The Sales Associate will support operations, assist with pricing changes, handle transactions, and uphold store policies. A professional appearance and readiness to work nights/weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Processes freight.
• Assists with price changes/markdowns.
• Balances register according to company policy.
• Bags merchandise efficiently when completing a customer's transaction.
• Handles all cash, checks and credit cards correctly and by company policy.
• Obtains management approval when needed for returns, voids and checks.
• Maintains housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Provides proper customer service such as greeting customers and following fitting room policies.
