Jim Burke Ford Lincoln seeks a Service Appointment Coordinator / Pick-Up Delivery Specialist to ensure exceptional customer service. You will schedule and confirm appointments, track parts, and help drive vehicles to service, including pickup and delivery and occasional detailing.

A strong emphasis on friendly, professional customer interactions and teamwork is expected. The ideal candidate has a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and good computer skills to use service apps and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.
• Automotive knowledge.
• At least one year of customer service experience.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Neat, clean, and professional in appearance and demeanor.
• A clean driving record.
• Must be able to drive both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Must be able to operate motor vehicles in tight spaces.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good computer and internet skills along with driving app experience.

Responsibilities

• Builds a positive relationship with the customer in person and on the phone
• Review all paperwork with the customer and document the vehicle concerns
• Makes appointments for customers for service in the shop loading system
• Follows all safety and security procedures
• Ensures that the required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
• Washes and details vehicles and moves them to and from service areas and lot as needed
• Installs protective coverings (seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, etc.) and tags in all vehicles brought in for service
• Uses driving and company apps and takes pictures of vehicles and uploads them
• Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
• Performs other duties as assigned
