Jim Burke Ford Lincoln in California is seeking an energetic Service Appointment Coordinator/Pick-Up Delivery Specialist to support the service department. You will schedule and confirm appointments, document vehicle concerns, wash/detail vehicles, and assist with parts orders.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to drive manual and automatic transmissions, and excellent customer service, communication, and computer skills. Prior related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Automotive knowledge is beneficial.
• At least one year of customer service experience.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Highly professional and dependable.
• Neat, clean, and professional in appearance and demeanor.
• A clean driving record.
• Must be able to drive both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Must be able to operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good computer and internet skills along with driving app experience.

Responsibilities

• Builds a positive relationship with the customer in person and on the phone.
• Reviews all paperwork with the customer and documents the vehicle concerns.
• Makes appointments for customers for service in the shop loading system.
• Follows all safety and security procedures.
• Ensures that the required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards.
• Washes and details vehicles and moves them to and from service areas and lot as needed.
• Installs protective coverings (seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, etc.) and tags in all vehicles brought in for service.
• Uses driving and company apps and takes pictures of vehicles and uploads them.
• Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
