The Citi Trends, Inc. Sales Associate position is focused on delivering excellent customer service and having knowledge of the merchandise to satisfy customers.

You will stay engaged with shoppers, show integrity and effective communication in a fast-paced retail setting, while helping build a positive work culture and supporting change within the store. Based in the In Store location, this role reports to Store Management and is part of Store Operations.

Competenze

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

Mansioni

• Processes freight.
• Assists with price changes/markdowns.
• Balances register according to company policy.
• Bags merchandise efficiently when completing a customer's transaction.
• Handles all cash, checks and credit cards correctly and by company policy.
• Obtains management approval when needed for returns, voids and checks.
• Maintains and cleans work area.
• Provides proper customer service such as greeting customers, adhering to fitting room policies, ringing up customers promptly, and inviting them to return.
• Follows all safety procedures.
• Keeps a professional, neat appearance including wearing a name tag.
• Assists management in merchandising the sales floor according to stock levels.
• Explains exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions.
• Supports Loss Prevention procedures and reports incidents of theft.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
