Job summary

The Michaels WAUSAU store in Wisconsin is seeking team members to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, and maintaining in‑store presentation to keep the store well merchandised.

You may enroll customers in the Rewards program, support Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes, and follow SOPs while upholding safety and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program enrollment and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on VOC survey and Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) execution.
• Support store recovery, merchandising, and in-stock optimization (SISO) to maintain a well-merchandised store.
