Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store associate for our San Antonio, TX location. You will help customers find products, provide friendly checkout, and enroll shoppers in rewards programs while delivering fast service.

In this role you will stock and unload merchandise, support omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store, and assist with planograms and shelf recovery. The position requires a positive attitude and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with standard cash handling.
• Engage customers in Rewards programs and enrollments.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain in-stock, well-merchandised store and support merchandise recovery.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
