Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a Customer Service Lead at the Phoenix store to ensure a welcoming customer experience and promote sales. You will run registers, assist customers, and help maintain store standards and signage.

This is a fast-paced role with daily interaction with the public and teamwork with store staff. The role requires strong math and communication skills, a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 16 years old, and availability to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent math skills preferred
• Ability to communicate and understand instructions, both verbal and written, in English
• Must be at least 16 years of age or older
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently

Responsibilities

• Operates POS and processes all forms of payments.
• Asks customers for donations at POS.
• Prices merchandise based on item and markings.
• Completes closing procedures, as necessary.
• Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.
• Greets customers entering the store and thanks those leaving.
