Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a front-line associate to support store operations in Queen Creek, AZ. You will run registers, process payments, and assist with stocking and upkeep of the sales floor.

The role emphasizes customer service excellence, English communication, and adherence to Goodwill values. Minimum age is 16, with background check and possible drug screen as required.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent math skills preferred.
• Ability to communicate and understand instructions, both verbal and written, in English.

Responsibilities

• Performs Point of Sale (POS) responsibilities and processes all forms of payments.
• Asks each customer for cash donations at POS.
• Establishes or identifies prices of goods via the type of merchandise, identifying markings, or asking for help from an on-site leader.
• Completes closing procedures, as necessary.
• Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.
• Greets customers that enter in the store and thanks customers leaving the establishment.
• Maintains sales floor by following floorwork and PPM (picture process map) standards.
• Stocks merchandise in appropriate area as assigned.
• Utilizes systems, including phones and paging systems to make regularly scheduled announcements.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment.
