Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a retail associate to lead an excellent customer and brand experience. You will run registers, process payments, accept donations at POS, and help maintain store standards.

Qualifications include a high school education or equivalent, strong customer service, and good math skills. English communication is required, and 16+ years of age or older is preferred for this role.

• Ability to communicate and understand instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Performs POS responsibilities and processes all forms of payments.
• Asks each customer for cash donations at POS.
• Establishes or identifies prices of goods using merchandise type, markings, or help from on-site leader.
• Completes closing procedures, as necessary.
• Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.
• Greets customers as they enter the store and thanks them on exit.
• Maintains sales floor and follows floorwork standards.
• Stocks merchandise in assigned areas.
• Uses phone and paging systems for announcements.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment.
